I can't wait for Left 4 Dead to be released! I was playing around in Illustrator and doodled this. With a bit of color added and a natural paper texture it does not look too bad!

Test render for a 3D butterfly I made for some promotional materials. Done in Lightwave, with textures in Illustrator/Photoshop.

The lighting is accurately simulated to be as close to real life as possible. This image took eight and a half full days to render on a 1ghz Pentium 3.
